Has there ever been one that didn't break something on your puter? This latest one wont even let me uninstall it and, of course, my sound doesn't work (at all).

Every six months with this shit. Half of the DB is on me for not saying no repeatedly to their desperate requests to "come on, just give this CREATOR'S PATCH a shot".

Just fucked.

The last one at work seems to have fucked up the Outlook client on several of our laptops. Fortunately, i have web access, so by the time I get back to the office on Tuesday they will have figured it out.

Not surprising, liberal Satya Nadella has known links to Antifica.

I only ever had one problem with Win10 updates, and that was one of the Creator's Updates in the spring of '16 I think ... anyway, it just hung towards the end of the process ... it took me some time to discover, and then trust, to perform the update by d/l'ing it onto a thumbdrive and then running the install from there ... worked perfectly.

As far as Outlook goes, I don't use it at home so I don't know about any potential fuckery firsthand.

Not a brag or anything ... I've just been fortunate in that regard I guess.

It's far from the greatest thing, but the Win10 subreddit can sometimes be a source of useful info.

And work just sent out an email with how to uninstall the Outlook part of the update. Second time in four months this has happened.

Yeah a really bad (too big) update Spring 16.

Try turning off your anti-virus/anti-malware. When I had Kaspersky, I had to do that because it wouldn't let any updates download.
