The Packers just paid a QB who will be 35 before this season is over and is coming off a season ending injury (that he has suffered for the second time in his NFL career...) more than any player in history. On what? The prayer that he can do this for as long as Brady has? There's nothing Packers fans hate hearing more than the harsh reality that Rodgers is A Great QB, not The Great QB. He is in an esteemed club but hardly the only member. Many teams have beaten him these last 8 years. Some of them are less talented than the roster the Bears currently have.

He has more MVP awards and the same number of Super Bowl MVP Awards and Lombardi Trophies as the entire Bears organization......but he sucks and some guy with 11 sacks on the 23rd ranked defense last year is going to alter the entire history of the league as we know it.

Didn't fucking Brett Hundley beat the bears last year?

He did. Handily. It's going to be a bloodbath in Week 1. Can't wait! /Bart Scott

Rex Grossman and Kyle Orton routinely beat the Packers.

We have Rodgers. You don't. That's the end of any relevant analysis.

Trump card over what? Certainly not the rest of the NFL the last 8 years. Every single team that has stood up to Rodgers since then has knocked him out. He's had good little rivalries with Seattle, SF, Atlanta even the Cardinals...but they've always come up on the short end against them in playoffs except for that one year. He's a QB good enough to get you contending for an NFC title, but not really good enough to get past whichever NFC defense is king of the mountain at the time.

~10 years ago he was that good. No doubt. Rodgers between 2009-2012 was a force of nature. But he's just not that guy anymore. And if the Bears have really built themselves that defense again he'll fold against them like he has folded against all the other ones since he started getting banged up in 2013.

The Bears also inexplicably beat Pittsburgh with Mike Glennon starting. Nobody has blown the Patriots out since 2005 worse than the Browns did once. Shit happens, welcome to the NFL.

I'm not worried about a guy who isn't as good as Joe Flacco when it matters most. Rodgers is done. That's one of MANY reasons why he put on the mask and took the money.

Lovie had a winning record against the Packers with Grossman and Orton as QB. That's a fact. The Bears were 7-3 before Cutler arrived.

This.

How many years have the Bears needed a stud pass rusher? And they NEVER are available. I couldn't care less about trading picks.

This trade is still great regardless of if they lose to the Packers or anyone else.

Seeing Khalil Mack pictured in a Bears jersey was truly nauseating.

Hope we stomp em.. I'll believe it when I see it, Aaron owns these guys until he doesn't.

I hope the time and location of the Khalil Mack press conference wasn't too inconvenient for Brad Biggs.

Did they say during the press conference if he will play vs Green Bay?

If they start Sam Acho over Khalil Mack they all deserve to die.

They kind of danced around things. Said they were going to ease him into things and such. Nagy was pressed on it on later and asked the chances that he would play and he said something along the lines of highly probable.
