Binge it last night and tonight. I liked it a lot. They did a great job developing the bad guys'.

I thought it ended weakly. Too formulaic.

I hate the guy from the Office.

Drone stuff was pointless. How many times will he let the bad guys flee without killing them. Could have been 1 episode if he wasn’t a bitch.

I watched episode 1 and liked it. I went to bed. My wife stayed up until 2 am watching the entire season so now there is little chance I will get to watch any more episodes.

undergrad, marine training and a tour in middle east, rehab, master and doctoral, years on wall street followed by years in cia. I have him in his 40s by the time this show opens. He is a little old and overqualified to be "aw shucks I'm just a junior analyst" within that department.

I just finished the season. It exceeded my expectations, which were admittedly low as there hasn't been a good screen adaptation of the character since 1994.

I want to see where they take it with season 2. I feel that with recent geopolitical events, a 1980s tale like Cardinal of the Kremlin could be updated and used as a good basis for a season. It was probably Clancy's best work and his most true espionage novel.

I liked the series but totally agree with the above. WTF? It added absolutely nothing to the show. What was the whole Vegas thing about? That seemed REALLY odd, like it was going to come back at some point....then never did.

Also agree with the ending being a bit formulaic. I still found the show entertaining and look forward to the next run.

The Vegas thing is pretty much showing you what it's like for our drone program. The pilots who are flying these drones over places like Yemen literally sit in trailers at an Air Force base just outside of Vegas.

But again, what was the point of having a drone angle at all? Literally, had nothing to do with the story. We get it, Hollywood doesn't like the drone program.

I understand the drone thing (and still don't think it added anything at all to the story) but I'm talking about his interaction with the couple he meets in the casino. That was a pretty elaborate encounter. I was expecting more on that front (eventually involving the terrorists) and was disappointed that it was just...nothing.

I wonder if this comes back next season with some sort of espionage angle.
