murph and jesse talking about who's managing the cubs next year. choices are Joe Maddon, Joe Girardi , David Ross, Mark DeRosa.

I wonder if any petting zoos are available for the rain delay.

Girardi. They need a no nonsense game manager. Joe is extremely talented in developing a culture but he doesn't know how to maintain it and he is fucking brutal as an in game manager. The talent covers his ass most of the time. His entire approach the last 2 days has been atrocious.

Just a shit series against a team that quit weeks ago, pathetic. Wilson only throws a fastball, so that was a gift for Harper. Can't blow a 4-0 and a 5-3 lead against a team that quit. The bullpen will be the weak spot once again, if they make the playoffs.

Murph was saying they'll never hire Girardi because he wouldn't take shit and has to do his thing without interruption. Maybe Theo would not go for that.

They conveniently quit around the time they played the brewers (they pushed scherzer out of that series for some reason) and then seemed to get pissed off and started to play for pride.

YOU ALL NEED TO CHILL THE FUCK OUT

The team hasn't had a scheduled off day in almost a month. Of course they are going to be playing like shit towards the end of this run of games.

Just pray they are playing well towards the end of September.

Maybe a themed dress up day as a distraction?

How about dressing up as pitchers who can throw strikes?

Well they still have to play this god damn team tomorrow. Maybe on the flight back home they can all get shitfaced and reset themselves mentally. I feel like I am watching the Blackhawks annual Carolina trip on repeat with this team this year.

They can dress as the '69 Cubs on the flight home.

Mike Murphy said that I believe he said Friday Bryant was originally scheduled to play Centerfield. Wow!

Well, if Murph says it then it has to be true.

Must win game today. Don't want to start the Brewer series with only a 1.5 game lead. There's a really good chance this team is no longer in 1st place by Thursday.

Judging from all this tropical weather we’re getting I have no idea how that game gets in. Going from here to there pretty much and I’m building an ark.

Maybe they could have played the series in Chicago. It reminds me of last year when MLB gave the Brewers a bullshit extra home series vs the marlins.

Like Rozner said this morning, take care of business and a rescheduled game won't matter
