MLB is making them fly back on their homestand off day on Thursday. Which would be fine except for the hurricane headed to the Carolinas.

(I am on a red-eye into Raleigh that's supposed to arrive from LA at 6am Thursday, and in a perfect world that gets cancelled the night before and I just try to find my way back to Chicago. The idea of a game being played in that weather (or the Nats weekend series at ATL) is nuts.

Plus, the Cubs get to face Max on regular rest.

Fuck.

They moved Pitt/Mia to October 1st. This is a fucking joke. I wouldn't even go. Take the L and let the guys get actual day off rest. The Nats owner and MLB can suck the cubs cock, take the meaningless W and lose their precious gate and concession sales.

Fucking ridiculous to have to go back on Thursday. They need to move Fridays game to a night one. This scheduling is going to be their excuse if they choke away the division.

They will make the playoffs easily. They might not win the division, but getting the second Wild Card is a low bar.
