Play for the win. A first down ends the game. Now they'll lose 24-23.

What a disappointment.

Learn how to coach 4 quarters, douchebag.

Run Mitch to keep teams off balance.

He was right about having to go for the TD there. He knew what was going to happen, I think he saw that Fangio's secondary had lost their confidence and he needed to get the lead to 10. He assumed 3rd & 1 the Packers would sell out to stop the run. Cohen was covered, the defender somehow sniffed it out.

I forgot what game it was last year, but a coach had a 4th and 1 and skipped the FG because he knew the QB on the other team would just march down and get a TD. He converted the 4th and ended up winning the game.

Of all the shit in that game, that 3rd and 1 play was just stupid. Play call was dumb. Clock management aspect was even worse.

It was obvious they were throwing when Howard was no tin the back field. If Jordan Howard can not get one yard on two downs they deserve to lose. Rodgers had just marched with ease twice. No fucking way he was not scoring a TD on that drive. Everyone but the Bears realized that.

The Bears clearly realized that as they went for the TD instead of playing it safe for the FG on 3rd & 1. Going for it on 4th there would've been crazy.

This loss sucked but this team gave you a glimpse of what they can be on both sides of the ball. No need to overreact.

Whatever good they showed in the first half is more than cancelled out by the poor showing in the second.

They ran out gas on defense and Kyle Fuller should be euthanized. The offense looks better when guys aren't thinking. There was a lot to be encouraged by.

Agreed. In five years when Rodgers is done Mack should have just enough left in the tank to lead them in a short title contention window.

Uh its pretty clear that Rodgers' body is failing. That knee isn't getting better in a week, and he was kinda dogshit in that game. Lucky him the Bears secondary was worse.

Nope. Appreciate what you saw tonight. All time great stuff. He’s not close to done.

He is very literally on his last leg. What percentage of his receiving yards in the second came from YAC? The pass to Fuller was very unlike him too.

Yeah you guys tried to knock him out. All it did was annoy him and he came back and shredded that vaunted “top 5” defense on that last leg.

His receivers shredded the defense, not him. He was busy trying to throw it to Kyle Fuller.

I'll say this about Nagy, he needs to give up playcalling right now. Helfrich is capable.

Nagy is head coach of the team, not head coach of the offense. Him burying his head in his play sheet every down takes his attention away from what's happening with his own players. Giving up playcalling duties doesnt mean he cant ever call plays, but his focus needs to be elsewhere. He just is not capable of seeing the big picture and micromanaging the offense.

No it was him. Obviously he put them in positions to succeed like usual.

Allison and that's really it. The Bears never even really made him work for it in the red zone.

Start going for the fourth and shorts when you are up 20 to fucking 0. Let Mitch try shit and build confidence. If he fucks up so what? Would you rather fail big or die by a thousand cuts? It clearly showed that Mitch wanted to shit his pants having to get into field goal range with less than 2 minutes to go in Lambeau. Fuck you Nagy. No one won playing on cruise control.

You can see the Andy Reid incompetence rubbed off on Nagy.

They did not need another score. A first down ends the game. Going for it on 4th and 1 and then kneeling the game out if you make it, gives you a better chance to beat Rodgers than going up 6 with a little over two minutes to go.

Bears were not gonna be able to run out the clock with 3 minutes to go. Packers scored in like 30 seconds, Nagy had correctly appraised what his defense was capable of but stopped halfway of fully committing to scoring the TD.

I think he should gone for it on 4th & 1 after sleeping on it. Really no difference between a 6 and 3 point lead when you knew the Bears secondary had given up on trying to win.

They really had the Packers fucked up with the zany formations and misdirection but after the 1st possession of the second half they just gave up on it. Really the Leno split wide, motioning (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky, lining Cohen up everywhere...that shit worked but even with a lead Nagy just caved in and ran empty backfield and I-formation stuff.

If they're gonna be vanilla they should be vanilla. If they're gonna be weird then be weird. Do not half commit to both. They almost deliberately let the Packers get comfortable in this game.

Not one fly pattern to Taylor Gabriel the entire game. When you have the fastest man on the field, that has to be a call at least once every game.

You have guys who have shown some real ability to RAC at the TE position. Dion Simms is not one of them.

No.

It was obvious at the beginning of the second half they were giving the game away. For all the talk we've heard for years about Mike McCarthy being a bad coach. He came out of the half and absolutely bitch slapped Nagy. The Packers adjusted. They completely shut down the Bears offense and more importantly, they figured a way around Mack. Bears couldn't cover, Bears couldn't tackle. Nothing worked.

This game was humiliating.
