Dolphin, it scares me that you're so concerned about this. In the brief time I've been on this board, you seem like someone who is more or less optimistic when it comes to the White Sox. I want to tell you that if the White Sox have one thing it's starting pitching, but I attempted to make a list for you of all the stand out performances from young White Sox starting pitchers/prospects, and I also got kind of depressed. If there's one silver lining it's this, the whole point behind fully committing to the rebuild was that you were going to accumulate a lot of highly-touted prospects who on paper looked very similar to one another, but some of those guys were going to flame out and some were going to succeed, and it was going to be very hard to distinguish one group from the other. Therefore, you couldn't just only trade Sale or Quintana, but had to trade everyone if you wanted to maximize the possibility of getting good players. Unfortunately, it looks like most of the flame outs are going to be on the Sale trade, but the Eaton trade and the Jimenez trade still look like winners. It's certainly disappointing, but this could still work. Also, what were they doing with Sale, Eaton, and Quintana? A whole bunch of nothing.

Kopech's injury, Rodon's downturn, and Moncada's suckiness put a damper on expectations.

Still excited to watch Timmy, Reynaldo, and hopefully Eloy next year. The Sox will be better next year with an improved bullpen and more prospects coming up.
