Pitchers don't run hard. He tried to beat out the throw at the end and it cost him. The reality is he shouldn't have been in the game.

That’s bullshit . They run and stretch every day . He gets up and dances like an idiot for Cub home runs at a moments notice but to expect him to be able to even jog 90 feet to first without getting hurt is too much ? He’s a professional athlete for fucks sake .

I asked last night. Maybe it was missed? Do they still do that dumb shit?

you frequently ask questions of the board that could be answered by a 2 second google search. Sometimes its wrapped inside a smarmy shot at the Cubs. So 1 time out of hundreds I return your smarm. sorry. happy friday.

2/3 of the crap on this board could be eliminated by Google.

No he shouldn't have. But simply amazing that a pro player can't run 90 feet.

I'd put money that DiCaro could run 90 feet without getting hurt.

I get what you're saying but generally pitchers aren't asked to run. The jog wasn't the problem. Trying to beat out the throw at the last second was. Maddon shouldn't have put him in that position.

I've been waiting/hoping for one of those dopes to injure himself during the stupid dances, so it would stop.

If she dies during the run, I lose the bet. Unfortunately, the board loses one its most cherished topics.

hoping someone on the team you root for gets hurt. At that point, you gotta step back and ask yourself if you even like the team.

Do you think everyone (or even most) in the bullpen actually likes doing that, or do they feel obligated? I thought it was cool the first time or three, then it got old.

The bullpen dancing was alot more fun when they actually hit home runs and danced.

It's age. As we get older we think a lot of things "kids" do is stupid. They see it differently.

He probably got hurt because he hasn't been able to dance in a while.

I think there is some space between "this thing is kind of played" and "I hope someone gets injured doing it!"

They have 6 spots open on the big league roster now. Morrow, Bobby Wilson and Heyward are not on it because of the DL but with the way Joe burns through players they should give him a few more. Unless Underwood hit a pitch limit and was shut down there is no reason for him not to be up. I would go and grab Sean Rodgriguez for the rest of the month. Its only for 2 weeks and he can't be on the playoff roster but anything is better than batting pitchers.

I loved it when Lamar Houston blew out his ACL after sacking Garoppolo. But no, I wouldn't wish any major injury from a bullpen dance.

I agree about that Houston injury. Didn't the Tampa placekicker kicker get injured celebrating a made FG? God those were funny.

Edit: I used the Google machine as recommnded by RPB:

Kendrys Morales completely destroyed his leg stomping on home plate during one of those walk off celebrations.

Would you look at that guys? A dumb question of mine that I could have googled prompted a age of discussion. No idea that might happen.

Except it didn't. Rogue brought it up. He actually provided the answer to your question, but then you still asked...which really added nothing other than to get you and I in a little back and forth.

Happy friday! Cheers!
