Joe genius -

takes out your best players and puts on a shitty lineup , they luck into 1 run

Lester pitches 7 scoreless

Wilson great inning

Chavez 4 pitches
Roasio 5 pitches (I think)
Cisheck (1 pitch)

Almost like a day off for these guys other than Lester.

Took my son today. We spent a couple innings out on the green...didnt miss a thing. I did come close to starting a ruckus with a dad whose wife was upset our rubber ball kept bouncing over into their little picnic in the middle of 20 kids playing catch. Goofy bastards.

This Addison Russell thing has to stop, another two K’s. He isn’t getting on base, isn’t hitting for power.

Yeah that’s the thing. They showed the graphic couple weeks ago where if the Cubs played only .500 ball the rest of the way the Brewers had to play something like. .700 just to tie, its hard to maintain that pace plus I just don’t think they’re good enough to sustain it .

The only 2 games they lost over a 2 week stretch were to the Cubs. They need a little cold spell now. The problem with that is that their schedule is complete crap. Its Reds, Pirates, Cards and Tigers. The Cubs schedule isnt that much different though other than the freaking Diamondbacks who are fighting for their playoff lives now.

JD feeling the need to explain to the viewing audience who Mario Soto was is somewhat depressing.

Soto's last year was Jose's first w/ the Reds. Your response is also somewhat depressing.

Soto had the fire and passion. I think he may have been first player I remember being described as a firey latin.

I remember both. Used to come home from school and watch the Cubs games. Still remember seeing a young Barry Bonds on tv circa 86-87.

If Riggleman is smart just leave the starter in the whole game and it’s an easy win. Same would have gone last 2 games.

Contreras needs his ass chewed out for standing there with his thumb in his ass.

Agreed

But it did appear to be a shot that was going out.

Really? I don't seem to recall that sort of thing happening much to speak of.
