The concerns about Mitch are valid. His play thus far limits the ceiling of the team.

America should only be trusted to provide the daily alt-right talking points. His sports thoughts are Sam Smith-esque.

Bears would have won by at least 20 tonight with an above average QB. Very much a concern going forward.

Right, but the win is quality. The team bounced back a little. Now they have to follow up.

Agreed. Their defense has a chance to be legitimately dominant. It's a concern as a GB fan. Just not as much of a concern as Mitch would be to me if I was a Bear fan.

They have to win me back, Nas. The McCaskey ownership pushed me to prioritize college football over the Bears the last 3 years. I'm not committing until every phase is performing at a high level.

Wilson's a great QB. The semantic games aren't necessary.

He is a good QB. He is not great or elite. The seahawks are shit this year and will get a top 10 pick. Bears have far superior talent and should have won by much more.

Bears looked good on D for 3 quarters. Bears offense looked good occasionally. But Mitch is killing the O and the D is getting gassed by the end of the game. They need to figure some shit out by the time they play another good team.

However.....I always felt like Wilson was good enough to be a starter at NC State. Unlike Mitchell....

Mitch is bad so far of course. But Wilson has shown he is great and he's playing behind one of the worst lines in the league by far, and missing his number one receiver. We saw what happened two years ago when Rodgers lost Jordy. Wilson has proven over years he is great. Told 5-6 in the league.

Seahawks' OL are probably closer to the back-end of the middle of third of the league than among the absolute worst. Maybe last year you were right but adding Duane Brown has done a lot of good for them. They've looked bad against Khalil Mack and Von Miller...which is hardly surprising because almost every team looks bad against those two. Ifedi has looked really bad but he's had some brutal match-ups these first two weeks so maybe he deserves a break. IIRC he led the NFL is penalties last year.

Now if you want a really abysmal OL wait until next week with the Cardinals. That can be a real bloodbath.

btw- Extremely impressed with the Bears OL so far. Long looks elite, Leno has done great and Whitehair has bounced back. Kush and Massie have held their own. Very encouraging.

This win is going to look a lot better in 5 or 6 weeks when the Seahawks are back over .500 after running train on a soft part of their schedule. They've got Oakland, Detroit, Dallas and Arizona coming up. They'll beat those teams with or without Wagner/Wright/Baldwin.

No they are among the absolute worst. Texans and Giants are close. Titans played with both their starting OTs out and looked significantly better. It's not really a question that Seattle has one of the very worst offensive lines in football.

I think its still unfair to bury them because they faced probably the two most unrelenting pass rush teams in the NFL the first two weeks. Its easy to call them dreadful now.

The defense played wasn't on the field long enough to get tired. The offense didn't score enough touchdowns but they ate up the clock. No excuse for the defense taking the 4th quarter off again until the interception.

The defense is this team so far. Maybe they could "finish strong" if the offense could put together some long second half drives.

The offense put together a long and time consuming touchdown drive entering the 4th quarter. I don't think the offense had more than 2 possessions that ended with a 3 and out. The Bears dominated time of possession.

I was talking about both games. This will be a common scenario this year. O trying to catch up to the D.

If the offense is half as good as the defense we will be a Super Bowl team. Mitch needs to react more instead of thinking. Have some Rex Grossman like confidence.

Roquan Smith's speed and athleticism elevates this defense to another level too. After the Bye Week I expect this defense to get to another level.

I honestly had trouble following the front seven. If you focused on one side or guy, you would miss something else. Just about every guy was making plays at some point. Even Lynch was in on stuff.

The concerns about Mitch are valid. His play thus far limits the ceiling of the team.
Right, but the win is quality. The team bounced back a little. Now they have to follow up.
Agreed. Their defense has a chance to be legitimately dominant. It's a concern as a GB fan. Just not as much of a concern as Mitch would be to me if I was a Bear fan.
I'm more concerned with only 14 carries for Jordan Howard, who seemed like he could get 4-5 yards every time he touched the ball last night. Run the ball a little more means Mitch throws a little bit less, which makes everybody look a little better at this point.

Howard averaged 2 yards a carry. Good or bad I think that the Bears realize in order to win they need to accelerate the development of (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky.

Callahan with another exceptional game. I wish he could be more than a nickel but he is really good at that position

Positives:
- Defense (excl: Kyle Fuller)
- Pass Blocking
- Special Teams (excl: Cohen's fair catch in side the 5)
- Allen Robinson
- Mitch (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky: Touch passes...can do!

Negatives:
- Run game/RBs/Run blocking: Now we can see why the rumblings of Howard trade occurred. Nagy has no idea how to manufacture a run game. The best runs last night were (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky or gadget plays with Gabriel/Burton.
- Kyle Fuller: for $15M still doesn't know to turn around his head as he approaches the end zone OOB on a fly route?
- Mitch (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky: decision-making, yards/attempt, pussy arm strength, no pocket presence
- Nagy play-calling: a lot of cute playcalls. a mixed bag against a depleted Seahawks D. Where are the shots downfield? Gabriel is fast, no? Didn't see many intermediate 15-25 yard square in's or TE up the seam. Nagy knows Mitch can't make those precise laser throws?
- QB-designed runs: absolutely idiotic.
