I don’t really understand why they were arrested. My understanding is by the end shirted dumbass had picked up a bat.

He was unstable and had a weapon at that point. Isn’t this what stand your ground was designed for. Not sure if brandishing the gun prior changes anything. But old shirtless dumbass was calm and somewhat trying to calm things, even if being adversarial.

A couple years ago a father and son had an argument about who was supposed to walk the dog. Both pulled out a gun and shot each other. The father's shot was fatal.

Those two were itching for an excuse to shoot him. The feud between the two parties had been broiling for days.

I am surprised he only came at them with a bat and not a firearm of his own, though he did threaten to return with a pellet gun.

No doubt they were itching to shoot him. But he knew they were armed. He had 2 minutes to calm down and walk away and leave the cum stained mattress in the alley.

Still think they are covered in stand your ground. He threatened to kill them numerous times. That's what happens when neither party is legally required to stand down.

If shirted dumbass somehow killed both of them in the heat of the moment with a BB gun, baseball bat or smothered them with the cum stained mattress.... he is innocent too. The situation escalated to where both parties legitimately feared bodily harm from the other party.

so much wrong with this post from a legal perspective.


Stand your ground does not allow you to actively seek out confrontations and escalate them to a point where you finally feel threatened enough to shoot someone. And this didn't happen on their property,it happened in an alley.


You can't walk out into the street or alley, brandish a gun and start threatening unarmed people in the alley with the gun with the hopes that the unarmed idiot will make a move towards you.
