Just watched the second one again. Doesn't seem like any safety help over the top but Trevathan did motion like he blew the read on Johnson then got torched.

Rosen looks about 30 lbs underweight and had he played that whole game he probably would have been killed. I'm shocked they played him.

He looked different until this season. Health was the biggest issue. Now he just looks bad.

Either way, Arizona isn't very good but they came out the same way a lot of the moribund winless teams came out this week. Cleveland, Buffalo, Raiders, Lions, Seahawks, Titans (they were 1-1 but they also suck ass) and Cardinals all came out nasty and mad and the Bears and Dolphins were the only ones to pin a loss on someone from that group. So take a little encouragement in seeing the Bears emerge as one of the few favorites who escaped Trap Game Week with a win.

Back home against Tampa.

I do not like how Nagy calls a game thus far. He puts them in a lot of 3rd and long situations and still doesn't use Cohen in the passing game What is he afraid of? An injury? Doesn't make sense to me.

It was really loud yesterday at State Farm. Cardinals defense showed up too.

Bears were basically at home. I guess they had to travel.

Agreed. They have good players on defense too. Winning a game in a hostile environment against a desperate team is nothing to frown at.

It was hostile for Arizona. Eddie Jackson lept into crowd after his called-back pick 6 and it was all Bears fans.

Miller and Amukamara both listed day-to-day. My guess is neither is active for Tampa and they get the bye.

Miller is simply not going to get season ending surgery without being absolutely forced to. He is almost impossible to keep off the field.

Eddie Jackson and Akiem Hicks made the Week 3 All NFL team for PFF.

This is a bit cheapened by the fact that Mack once more was utterly dominant and somehow wasn't selected.

Overall thought PFF is basically enamored with the Bears defense so if you put a lot of stock into their grades you should be pretty happy. I'm reposting this for you ungrateful fags.

The offense is surprisingly high on these lists too. Our man Mitch is 33rd, which I'm not saying he doesn't deserve but PFF is goofy with their QB grades. Actually all these grades are subject to some serious scrutiny, but generally speaking if you're over 90 you're having an outstanding season and if you're over 80 you're doing pretty damn well.

imo they are overrated Jackson and Amukamara a little while underrating Bullard and the ILB's but overall I think they have the distribution of who is making the biggest contributions correct.

There were many Bears fans. There were more Cardinals fans though. It was ridiculously loud. I'm bringing ear plugs next time.

When a quarterback can isolate a linebacker on a wide receiver on a long route, the outcome is seldom in doubt namely that the receiver is going to win. A LB needs someone who covers the receiver deep, and this did not happen.

I’ll cut him some slack on the Johnson TD, that guy is a freak and there’s no way that you stick Trevathan on him without some help over the top, but the Seals-Jones TD was a massive fuck-up.
