I understand Dunkin and short for Dunking. So now they are nami g their business a standalone verb for dropping an object into liqud. I don't get it.

Looks like someone wanted to one up IHOP for stupid branding move of the year.

Devil Ray's became Rays
KFC became KFC
ETC.

How do you mess up breakfast? I can literally microwave an egg and toast bread and it is far superior to what Dunkin can do.

Dunkin Donuts still has drinkable coffee; esp since Tim Horton's changed their coffee recently and it's become undrinkable swill. Now I just get a few shots of the automated espresso if I end up at a Timmy's for coffee.

When I used to live in suburban Boston in the mid 90s, the donuts were still above average. Not as good as the best local places, or pre-Wendys Tim Hortons, but enough to pick one up 2-3 mornings a week for my hour long drive into the city.

Now, other than the cronut they had over last Christmas, they are inedible. If I want a donut, I wait until somebody brings Do-Rite into the office, or I make a pilgrimage to Old Fashioned on 113rd & Michigan a couple of times a year.
