I haven't seen him at any games or any other Wrigley events this year. He is usually front and center when the Cubs are playing well and even heads over to Sox games at night. Is he sick?

Forgive me if I've told this story here b4, but years back I was at the Chicago stop for Gary Dell'abate's "I am BabaBooey" book signing tour and right as we were nearing our turn to get up there we noticed some old dude in a cubs uniform attempting to jump the line and get in front of us all "Do you know who I am?" style.

It didn't work and I ended up being the guy to tell BabaBooey about the legend of Ronnie Woo^2. If there is a god Boy Gary ended up spreading the legend out to new York (before the documentary and all that). I think I told him something like "imagine if the Jets fireman guy was homeless and tried using his status as a means to get people to buy his way into games... And evidently this status gets you VIP treatment when out of towners come in for book signings"

He was panhandling at HVAC bar earlier this year. Was at a game in may and he was asking if we knew who he was and If we had some money for him.
