Came out of church this morning to find anti-Israeli literature on the windshield.

Strange way to start a morning.

They’ve been awful out here last few weeks. We almost never have mosquitos but they are Minnesota northwoods bad right nkw. I blame the monsoon we had last month when it dumped 5.5 inches of rain and flooded areas that are never flooded this time of year.

I'm almost rooting for an early freeze, I've been stung thrice over the last few days where I could feel the damn things land and couldn't do anything about it. (Driving, carrying groceries)

I have a love/hate with the early freee. I’d love the bugs to get knocked back but I have some double crop beans that need a bit more time. I think they’ll make it but Friday night’s forecast makes me a touch nervous. Not that I can do anything about it if we get a frost, just means the vegans will have less beans available for tofu.

I was checking crop the other day and got nailed on face three times. I was prettier than usual for a few hours.

One of these years I'd really like to meet a D Squirrel in his natural habitat. As I get older, there's something that fascinates me about the details of farming.

All the years of interstate driving always made me wonder about the timing and economics of soybean farming.

And hearing Orion Samuelson as a yout.

Bugs have been pretty bad last few weeks. Going to get to mid-30s overnight up here in SE Wisconsin so it should put them on stun at least
early.

Hank Jr's baseball coach showed up to the game so drunk last night that one of the other dads had to drive him home and yours truly stepped in to help out and coach first base. I got out of work a bit late so was running about 15 minutes late to the game, I showed up and within 2 minutes told my wife the coach was drunk. The other dad that helps with coaching handled it really well, but the VP of the league showed up after we got the coach out of there and had to talk with us about the incident. What a mess... the kids are just young enough that we were able to pacify them with 'the coach wasnt feeling well so he had to leave' but they also knew something weird happened. We gave his son the game ball after the game just so when he tells the story to a therapist later in life, he will have a bit of positive memory in there. It was a sad night...

So the FDA has recalled approximately 6.5 MILLION pounds of beef because of potential salmonella.

So let me get this straight- we kill thousands of cows for food, yet our sanitary standards are so low that we wasted their use?

Incidents like this make me understand why people go vegan.

When I was 12 I had a little league coach that I am pretty sure was drunk at a few of our games. He was something. He told his son during a game that if he hit a homerun he would find a pretty girl to give him a blowjob.

Especially when they mix the meat with chemicals to kill salmonella.

His attempt to "find a pretty girl" is likely to lead to an FBI investigation.

Flight from Houston to Detroit departed today at 12:25 PM.

Stepped up to the vacant bag check kiosk at 11:45 AM to check my bag. Was presented with a document that I can’t check my bag and need to talk to an agent.

Long story short, I watched that 12:25 flight take off, me and my bag will be on the 4:27 flight, and I am for the most part hammered.

I know FAA regs and all, but come on.

There seem to be some missing chunks of info here...

Not allowed to check a bag under 45 minutes of departure. Cannot fly on a separate flight from your luggage.

One Post + 3 hours to kill at airport = bombed.
