Murph is spot on saying the last 4-6 weeks has been Theo’s best time with the Cubs.

These pickups have been fantastic. If they win the WS it’s all because of Theo.

I know you listen to Murph. What was your take on Murph doing a 180 gushing praise on Joe as the Cubs greatest with a wimpering Joe book author Jesse? Odd?

I was listening to Dari and Mel's college football show this morning and Murph and Fred are on right afterward. They start the show talking about Canfield's 50/50. Murph says he's going to use a word he wouldn't normally use on the radio but since everyone else says it these days he's going to say it, even though he spent the last 20+ years trying to avoid it..."50/50 sucks."

Careful there, Murph, you don't want the FCC to take the station's license.

Then their effeminate-sounding producer says he has never had 50/50 but he LOVES Squirt (thsquirt). Murph, oblivious as ever and in that ridiculous voice, says "Have you ever had a Mexican Squirt?"

Unbelievable...

If these were the good ol' days of WSCR (and Murph were still at WSCR) the HFC would play the hell out of that drop.

I want Murph back at the Score just for the hay they'd make of that drop.

Good lord Murph is an idiot.

Was in the car for awhile today. This show could be from 2002 if not a little busy. A decent change of pace.

But the podcasts the station put on afterwards were abominable. (Adam Shefter, some guy who's greatest thing in life is being a Stanford alum and an absolutely pathetic attempt by Marty Smith?).

The other primary options were a Cubbie broadcast, and White Sox Weekly with Harry Teinowitz? Blech.
