Always been good when not dealing with what sounds like a complicated disease.

Let’s remember Pitt’s defense is an abomination though.

I am happy to see Jon Bostic find a place in the NFL. Maybe the third best Emery pick?

I still think Baltimore wins this or loses a close one. Strange game tho.

So you think Baltimore wins or loses? Way to go out on a limb.

I think it’s gonna be a close game like my post indicated. Read better friend.

Tie game with 2 minutes left in the half and you think it’s going to be a close game? Way to go out on a limb.

I wasn’t claiming to be a savant on any of this. I was responding to America’s comment saying Pitt was storming back.

What are you doing?

I probably should’ve realized that a few posts ago.

But yeah Ravens got this in a close one.

Yup but BC is making me take a stand so I’m firmly planting my flag in “Ravens could win a close one” territory.

Thank fucking God for jaire Alexander. Without him GB would be the very worst defense instead of just run of the mill bad.

Holy shit Minny's defense is worse than any of us thought tho.

King is the best corner on the team but he can't stay on the damn field. Jackson has 4 NFL games under his belt as does Alexander. They both look good. If the safeties get their shit together the Packers will have one of the best secondaries in the league in the coming years.

I wonder if the NFL style of the day will ever cycle back to a big old bull-dozing fullback leading the way with two TEs for the halfback and only throwing on 3rd down.

Everything old is new again. Seems inevitable that it would be an innovation in the year of our Lord 2025 or so.

Is Justin Tucker the reason the Ravens are never bad?

I dont think so, defenses are too big and athletic. If you're predictable you get ruined.

Too much physical contact and not as pretty as throwing the ball 50 times.

Always enjoy these Ravens/Steelers games; real hate between the two.

Wow the Steelers are being booed. Is Conner doing ok or do they really miss Bell?

Both.

He's been okay but Bell is obviously missed.

I would guess that's pretty much it.

The days of Mike Alstott and his kind being hh names are gone forever, over a long time ago.

I do think there is room for another Mike Alstott-like player, the issue is nobody has been anywhere near as good as Alstott since he retired. A lot of those guys become H-Backs now, but someone who is a dedicated runner/blocker? There is definitely room for that in the league, and some guys do make livings with it, but we just havent had the super-stud that reminds us how effective that role can be.
