If he wins the game today, it will go a long way in Cubs fans feeling better about the trade. If he loses, obviously the opposite. He had had a habit of underperforming in big situations, so I have to temper my enthusiasm, even though he has had great success VS the Brewers.

I heard for a very long time in this section that the playoffs are based on luck with no positional seeding being superior.

I disagree with GD. If they win today, they not only have home field, but get their players 2 days rest, which would be helpful, especially for the bullpen.
