When he saw Howard in the flat for the easy first down but instead chose to launch a precision, laser-guided strike directly to Allen Robinson in the end zone you knew something about him had changed. At least for that day he had totally reinvented his game with that one play.

I don't know why posters like Billy and FavreFan choose to die on a hill of an "awful sports opinion" when they know they weren't watching first hand and are just going to make a fool of themselves. Pick another battle here, there are MANY.

I can recall one bad throw the entire game. He missed Robinson down the sideline with an underthrow. Other than that it was a perfect game. I'll take a perfect game against any opponent

He had an overthrow in the flat early.

Multiple misses on easy 8-10 yard outs early on.

But none of that matters now.

6 TD Mitch.

As long as it's not the Astros of April, 1998.

rich that you calling me out for an awful sports opinion... how's your roquan smith is a bust take going?

my point is mitchell can't handle a dirty pocket or pressure. nothing from that game can be used as evidence to refute. i sincerely hope he learns how to deal with pressure because a real NFL defense is going to bring a lot of it

Have I really been wrong about Roquan Smith? Of course he's a HUGE upgrade over Kwitkowski, but still he really doesn't stand out on that defense. Had they not drafted him, I would hope they would have found an upgrade over #44.

here's a take from last weeks' game from a bad scout Gerg Gabriel

Quote:
Inside Linebacker

Except for a screwup in coverage on the Cardinals' opening possession, the Bears' inside linebackers played well. Roquan Smith recorded his first NFL sack, and both Danny Trevathan and Smith were consistently strong vs. both the run and the pass. Their speed is noticeable all the time, making it difficult for opponents to get outside. Throw out the opening drive, where there were some coverage breakdowns, and the Bears' LB corps was very good.

Really wish Ward had fell to us. The corner opposite Fuller(who is Jeckly/Hyde himself) is the only Achilles heel on this defense.

This is an absolutely retarded attempt to save face. Mitch just had an all time game.

"guys until Mitch throws for 6 TD and no INT against a top 3 defense while never having a clean pocket I'm afraid I just can't believe in him going forward"

You're a fucking idiot dude. Seriously, you have no idea what you even want.

You predicted the Bears would lose this game by 20 and they wound up spending most of it up by almost 40. Just admit you're an idiot and move on, quit trying to "bubububububububu mitch had a hot pocket lol" like this.

Before this game Mitch (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky had the 10th highest passer rating when facing pressure in the pocket. I'd imagine when these stats get compiled for next week he would be ceding any ground.

Frankly I dont even know who you are. Your complete retardation wrt (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is the first thing noteworthy thing you've done as a poster.

At the very least this gives Mitch a lot of confidence and gets the media off his back. It's also on tape so safeties n corners can't continue to crowd the line.. It's nothing but positives that came from that ads whoopin.

Teams are still going to stack the box when Howard is in. This will definitely change the way they gameplan against Cohen though.

Even by this weird standard you're wrong. Did you take ponts away from Rodgers for his game winning touchdown against the Bears? (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky threw 6 touchdowns and one of his best passes Cohen stepped out of bounds.

Its not a weird standard. His problem has been making the great throws with guys covered. Throwing them open etc

Its a great game I just dont know how good Mitch is. Dod he have a lot of WOW throws yesterday?

This is a really dumb post. That is the job of a QB. To hit open receivers.

No its really not. You're thinking of college football. In the NFL players arent supposed to and dont usually get as open as they were (good play calling)

NFL QBs job is to make perfect throws into tight windows.

Oh and yes I did point out that two of the TDs in that game were great plays by receivers, nothing great from. Rodgers just a decent throw.
