You could say they won this because of Kareem Hunt or because Denver completely let off the Chiefs throats once they got that 10 point lead, but ultimately credit to the QB who wins over the ones who dont. Top 7 is crazy though, especially when the guy I think is hottest on his tail had a way better game against a stronger (though clearly not what they were last year) all around opponent.

An aside about Mahomes--this forced "showtime" nickname needs to stop. And the league, or whoever is telling the MNF booth/Booger (which is honestly so bad I am going to stop watching the ESPN broadcast) to just obsess over Mahomes, needs to cool it. I get that they want a new Star Is Born QB narrative because the Rodgers/Brady/Brees old guard is nearing their twilight, but I felt myself starting to really get sick of him. He played like shit in this game and they kept acting like it was the greatest performance in league history when he rolled out and chucked the ball into the stands. Part of this is the MNF booth being so unbelievably bad, but part of this is Mahomes' people and the league forcing this guy. "Showtime" hopefully died tonight.

The Vikings aren’t a stronger opponent. Have you not been paying attention to them? Their defense sucks.

America, you really should stick more to sports threads. You're objectively a good poster there.

Mahomes has some bad throws tonight but overall he played well. It’s crazy to suggest otherwise.

I had him jumping 5 guys, so clearly I am giving him the lion's share of the credit for this win.

Strong than Denver? Probably still. @Mile High probably does change that equation.

Still, Goff had such a better game than Mahomes it more than cancels out any difference in their opponents. Mitch was great this week, and I mean actually Great, but ultimately having watching both games he wasn't as good as Goff. Goff still had the best game this week, and it was a week with some crazy good games, and for that I move him up more. Goff is hitting his throws perfectly.

Minnesotas defense is bottom of the barrel bad right now. A step up from KC and TB slightly. The Bills just ran them let it was nothing and the Rams game can't just be excused cuz it's the Rams. They legitimately suck on defense right now without Griffen.

GB is a bad defense and shut buffalo out. I don't wanna hear about any transitive property bullshit either. The Vikings need to actually have a good defensive game before we can pretend they are good.

Denver runs the exact same retarded, rehashed Cincinnati scheme that Minnesota does. Good for Denver that they have Von Miller and him alone makes Denver at least as good, if not better, than Minnesota but aside from him? It's not pretty. I can count the plays where Hunt didn't fall forward for extra yardage on one hand. Have no idea what Vance Joseph is doing or frankly why they hired him.

And Cousins may not be great but Goff did have to overcome some pressure from his opposing offense whereas Mahomes in this one did not. Keenum has been a big disappointment for me, it's clear now (as if it wasn't already) that Theilen/Diggs were doing ALL the heavy lifting in Minnesota

Keenum's fine if he has a clean pocket. Obviously that's true for like 27 starting QBs though. When he's pressured he's abysmal.

I have almost no doubt the difference in cost between him and Cousins would've been better utilized buttressing a lot of the Vikings weaknesses than it was ultimately spent upgrading one position.

Keenum sucks. He had a clean pocket and missed Thomas for a TD. Denver wins if he makes an accurate throw.

Playing man killed the Broncos. Mahomes is a fighter but pressuring him made him look like crap.

Half the league runs this defense. Bears should feast on it similarly to how KC does (though the Bears obviously lack that KC's talent).

Most teams would have played zone when they have someone 2nd and 30.

That's how it works when youre not one of the best QB's in the league. It's a week by week thing.

Bortles is so bad that I have tried to use bortle as a verb to indicate "screwing something up due to extreme inability" but it hasn't caught on yet.

You might want to knock Matt Ryan down a bit

Deshaun is Objectively Good. What he's doing with the amount of punishment he's taking is remarkable. I dont know why Bill OBrien wants to see him get murdered on the field though.

I am struggling with Watson now, I think he is probably the hardest QB to place. Hopkins does make his life much easier, then again the OL works in the opposite direction. He isn't going to last much longer taking this punishment.

He is definitely more confident is his knee.

As I expected, Favre Fan massively moving the goalposts on his Watson argument.

Man you really can be an idiot sometimes. How do you not realize this entire thread is literally about tracking how different QBs are ranked and how it fluctuates?

Keenum's gotta be in the bottom tier. He's gonna be the next guy benched for a rookie.

Rosen hasn't been that bad and certainly he has been better than those beneath him. The rookies are going to move around a lot, that's to be expected. Could be totally different next week.
