The thing is, hitting was a problem last year as well. Davis was brought in *specifically* to fix the issues they had last year and preached contact over launch angle. Now almost the entire team is going through slumps at the same time, likely because they've been thrown off since the start of the season.

Didn't say that. These guys just didn't forget how to hit because Davis is the hitting coach.
