There isn't anything. We have this conversation once a quarter, and nothing changes, and most people stay. The board is a large part politics now. That's because local radio sucks and there are few places online to discuss politics that aren't completely populated by trolls or anonymous people.

Upvote / downvote on threads and posts. Posts with x amount of downvotes get hidden, similar to how the foe list works. Additionally instead of 'View Active Topics' there is a filter for 'View Highly Rated Posts' which hides the threads that have been downvoted.

Would be nice if people could reply to the post and not the poster every once in a while. Yes, poster A, we know you hate poster B, but stop shitting up unrelated threads with your beef that no one else cares about.

This site could also use less alcohol use, or more alcohol use. It seems like the current level of alcohol use is sub optimal.

An upvote/downvote system with a threshold that makes a post/thread hidden would simply result in the board's liberal sect silencing the posters and discussion it doesn't like, which would result in a bunch of people remarking to one another how bad Trump is and how no, actually, THEY are outraged MORE about this than anyone else.

At that point, just straight up ban political talk.

What's more, I think reddit found out that r/the_donald was spawned by the echo-chamber created by their upvote system.

That already happens because we outpitch everyone and there's a fucking sliding scale on the strike zone.

But I think most people who react negatively to you do so more because you kinda lawyer up and litigate everything like it's a trial instead of just casually sharing your take. I dont think it's because you have conservative leanings.

I've enjoyed content such as the quarterback ratings. It's honestly as interesting as the power rankings on "professional websites", and I honestly think if there was a radio line-up made out of the personalities here it would be more popular than the Score, ESPN 1000 or Barstool for local sports and culture.
