Rodgers with a definitely-not-torn-ACL-what-would-give-that-idea-he's-fine-look-at-him on the wet grass of FedEx field...wasn't too hard to see this upset coming.

I honestly did not know Devon House was still on the team. Whats the point of drafting King, Alexander and Jackson if they are still going to play House? He will ruin everything.

Packers fans should be thanking their lucky stars they are 1-1-1. This season could and should have been over for them before their bye week.

Still, the great Blake Martinez lead defense has to be giving them concern.

They would have won last week in regulation if Clay Matthews was allowed to make a football play.

But yes the defense sucks and this season doesn't look promising.

Someone is going to euthanize Rodgers very soon.

Oh, ok. They would have won if the refs didn't enforce the rules.

Rodgers needs an excuse ready if the Bears win the division.

I fear Packers find a way to win the division and McCarthy gets rewarded. Minnesota looks weird and (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky won't be playing Tampa every week.

Even if the Packers win the division, which is going to be a lot more difficult than Kirkwood thinks, it won't be enough to save him. He'd have to at least get to the Super Bowl I think. Packers see the offenses around the league and have to be thinking "What if we took Rodgers and his surrounding cast then had McVay or Nagy calling the plays".

I've got my gripes with Nagy but playcalling and offensive scheme are definitely not among them. Whatever you lose by inexperience you more than gain by putting one of those guys around Rodgers. It's like going from atomic to thermonuclear.

Yeah you're thinking about this logically, and GB's management isn't. They kept Capers around 5 years too long and are doing the same with McCarthy. He's not going anywhere unless they finish under .500

Only way he is out is if they win 4 games or less. Packers believe in longevity at the HC position - like the Steelers and Bengals. The guy won a SB -- he isn't going anywhere until they really shit the bed.

I know Rodgers just inked that extension but if he exerts enough pressure on their front office he can force a change.

I don't think Rodgers cares enough. This contract told you all you needed to know about Rodgers and winning.

I stick by my prediction that barring a successful playoff run McCarthy is gone. I don't doubt that they will fuck up and replace him with someone like DeFilippo, LeFleur or even Helfrich.

If the 49ers are stupid enough to fire Shanahan the Packers should be all over him.

Why would the 49ers fire Shanahan?

It would be shockingly retarded which is not necessarily out of character for them.

The front office in the sense of football operations can't fire McCarthy. The team president, Mark Murphy, is the one making the call.

Packers managment/front office is a bigger clusterfuck than the bears. it's sad.

Mack wasn't a lifelong Bear and hadn't already had a big payday.

The Bears are paying Khalil Mack almost the same amount the 49ers are paying Jimmy Garappolo. He took a huge discount for the beloved.
