I'm not a "real" fan of the team either. I'll still watch more Hawk games than anyone else but I plan to watch a lot of other teams this season. And go to a game at face value prices? Maybe I'd go to a game if the right opportunity presented itself but I doubt it happens.

You think prices will come down? I'm good to spend a little over $300 all in 4 people for a game. I don't want to spend a little over $500 for the disinterested hockey I've been watching the last few years.

I do really enjoy hockey....I just happen to care that it's GOOD hockey. I'm no different with baseball except the lower cost per ticket makes at least one game a season tolerable.

Only if you had unrealistic hopes for the team. Without Crawford the Hawks are picking in the top 10 of the draft again. No one should have any faith that Ward can provide anything more than mediocre goaltending at absolute best. Why would anyone think Q could have them overachieve?

I watched very little but what I saw was.. bad. Preseason hockey though so I’m not sure what to expect but some of those goals looked like bad rec league tender goals.

Regular season starts tonight. I need something to take my mind off of baseball, plus I usually fall asleep during the 2nd intermission.
