Was just there for 4 days. Certainly an interesting place to visit but I think I saw pretty much everything I intended to and really no interest
in heading back. Highlights included the 9/11 museum (which is a must in my opinion), The High Line, walked through Greenwich Village,
Rockefeller Plaza, St Patricks Cathedral, Central Park, etc... One of the highlights was walking across Central Park one morning and having
breakfast at Tom's Restaurant ( Seinfeld coffee shop ). I wanted to go down to the corner of 1st and 1st but it really would have been a trip
downtown just to do that and didn't seem worth it. As others mentioned, the garbage is a bit off putting but you get used to it. Central Park
is just great. We really got the hang of the subway and it is really the best way to get around other than walking. We stayed in Harlem which
was also pretty interesting.

You think its bad for cars? When I was driving semi's it would cost $100+ to cross the GW or Verrazano. You just bill this shit to the customer but its still insane that all truck traffic on 95 gets gouged that hard. Lincoln Tunnel maxheight in 13', which means no 13'6" boxes (which is like all the boxes on the road). Royal pain in the fucking ass.

287 is cheaper but trucks aren't allowed on the Palisades Parkway in Jersey so fuuuuccccckkkkk youuuuu if you were thinking of just bypassing all this shit if you were coming out of Elizabeth or Kearny and just headed straight north.

Still its a fun challenge routing and getting around. Not a hard place to drive, especially with the 53 ft rule in effect, but the tolls are a little ludicrous. Not all New Yorkers are flaming f@gg0ts.

Surprised USA citizens are allowed on to Chinese soil without a passport.

MTA is kind of a literal train wreck right now though.

No offense, but the city would eat you alive.
