CDAN blog has had some pretty incriminating blinds on the music being written / recorded for the movie. Basic gist is Lady Gaga is complete Caller Bob and sabotaged credible music.

I've actually never seen the original....not sure I want to. A few of my friends have seen it and loved it....called it an emotional roller coaster. That right there tells me I do not want to see it.

If my wife wants to see it...i'll watch it. Otherwise, I'll pass.

I haven't seen the 1954 Judy Garland version.

I haven't seen the remake with Streisand.

I won't be seeing the Lady Gaga version either.

The point of this movie is to take your lady and get her panties soaked so you get some that night.

Or to just do something nice for someone that likely does more nice things for you than you do for her.

I will prolly see it with the Mrs. next weekend. Cooper and Lady Gaga driving a story that is a remake isn't the worst idea Hollywood has made.

It's no Suspiria, but the wife isn't going to see that one.

Quality cinema. Lady Gaga shines bright from reel to reel. She is super hot and gave a full dynamic range from regular girl to music star. Yes, she gets butt naked in this film.

Bradley Cooper trying to win some Oscars up in here. The musical numbers could be real songs. Cried a couple times during the movie. You could feel the emotion in the theatre. Hearing a bunch of movie goers get choked up/sobbing didn't take me out of the moment of the film.

Supporting roles from Diceman Andrew Clay, Sam Elliott, and booze and pills round out the cast. Solid flick, and yes it got them panties wet. Her's too!!
