With the way the plan is progressing I can't think of a single reason why a player would not want to come to the Sox. Except maybe not wanting to deal with the second fiddle status the media gives them.

Its a good place to just be. Sox fans are great people, real salt of the earth. You wont be made a pariah overnight like you would on basically any other franchise that plays in a major city. If you play well for the Sox you are admitted into the family and it seems everyone from ownership to the fans looks back on almost everyone fondly, even if they weren't always great.

Downside is you aren't winning shit and the owner is King Jew of MLB.
