Man you really can be an idiot sometimes. How do you not realize this entire thread is literally about tracking how different QBs are ranked and how it fluctuates?

This is about you making excuses for Watson's down performance due to external factors. Last year you were anointing him the messiah and declaring Mitch trash despite people trying to point out the idiosyncrasies such as Watson going into a perfect situation of great receivers, great defense and a very good line. You weren't having none of that last year.

The line looks worse because Watson can't run on his hobbled knees anymore.

That's a bad take. You should try watching the games.

I thought he'd be the best quarterback in this class and nothing I've seen so far has deterred me from that. His guys have dropped loads of passes that were on the money in the past 2 games.

I've likewise seen nothing to convince me that Allen isn't the worst quarterback in this group. Most of his highlights have been scrambles rather than throws because his passing has been so poor.

Eli's team is about to mutiny because he is so bad.

I do. He isn't getting as many big runs as last year. He looks tentative.

how so? since benching flowers his protection has improved, he has been able to settle back and throw the ball with much more accuracy. His numbers are actually pretty solid. Who is ready to mutiny? i follow the team closely and haven't heard that. what makes him "Utterly Hopeless?". He is Tom Brady compared to Josh Rosen.

He's been getting more confident but Hopkins is carrying him to a large extent. Watson isn't as bad as he was to start the year but I can make a great case for everyone ahead of him on these rankings.

You follow the team closely but aren't aware of the Odell situation or Sterling Shepherd having a full fledged sideline meltdown when Eli ignored him and instead threw a maximum retard backfoot pick.

i know what happened, I watched it. The team is bad and certainly everyone is frustrated, but i dont think anyone in their right mind can hold Eli Manning responsible for the failures of this team. Eli has the respect of his teammates. Based on his production this year, how has he been utterly hopeless? he hasn't thrown for a lot of TD's, but he hasn't thrown an abundance of picks either. He's past his prime, but he is certainly better than Josh Rosen. Im not arguing he is elite.

Josh Allen has been a train wreck. How is he 22 and Tannehill 27? Or Prescott 30? The bottom of your list is pretty strange.

I get that Giants fans love Eli because of the two titles but it's been time to move on for a while now. The guy is done. He isn't Brady or Brees who can do this well into their 30's. I stand by my ranking of him and if Beathard wasn't playing for SF his ranking would be even worse.

Whoever was defending Dak too, you're crazy. There's a good argument to be made that Dak is #32.

There is an argument for starting Josh Allen because he clearly has a ton of talent and the only way to refine that talent is reps. Allen has absolutely nothing to work with either, bad OL, terrible receivers and Shady is sputtering into the twilight of his career.

I have to take into account what each team is expecting of their QB, especially in the lower half of the rankings (generally teams with good QB's are always selling out to win every game). Dak serves no purpose for the Cowboys. He is not good enough to win them games short term and is far enough into his career where his projectabilty is starting to really dwindle. Buffalo is pretty fucked but man, they sure do put up a fight and while the stats for Allen are terrible the team seems to love being around him and he does have a knack for winning games. That roster, especially on offense, is absolute ass but twice now it's done enough to win games against quality opponents

So the fact that Dak has been clearly better in just about every single statistical category and Josh Allen has been awful puts Allen 10 spots ahead on your list. Interesting. I can only imagine what Blake Bortles would think. He is rated only ahead of CJ Beathard and 9 spots behind a guy with a less than 50% completion percentage and 10 spots behind a guy with a 60.4 QB rating, and he has 1,500 yards passing, 8 TD, completes 61% of his passes and a rating of 82.4% and he considered "Utterly Hopeless".

he must to be 10 spots lower than a guy who averages 4.5 yards per attempt and has a rating of 60.

Maybe I'm overrating Allen because I am looking for reasons the Bills should have annihilated Minnesota (that wasn't just Cousins buffoonery) and beat a first-place Titans team in a game nobody had, but he is certainly above the bottom 5. No doubt in my mind having watched these games. Allen has a little bit of an "it" factor and I dont know if there is really a better running QB in the entire league (yes, including Russell Wilson) than Allen right now.

It's clear is that the young crop of QBs is not replacing the old crop as far as talent. All of the elite level QBs, except Wilson, are past their prime. In a few more years, there won't be any more Brady, Rothlisberg, Rivers, Rodgers, Brees and Manning. Who is going to fill this huge void, Mahomes and (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky?

If the rule changes won't kill the NFL, the lack of talent will.

Fans thought he same thing before THIS group of elite QB's showed up. Nobody predicted Brady and Rodgers or Roethlesberger or Brees were going to become as good as they became. Somebody always rises to the top.

^ Somebody is going to have strong seasons and pile up the rings. Every year one out of the thirty-two is going to win it and my guess it most years will not be Nick Foles.

Mofo, tell us again how Eli isn't a fuckin joke at this point?

Josh Allen might be worse. I think maybe that's it. CJ Beathard is probably better right now.

I've been too lazy to update this fully like America has but I should have some time tomorrow to knock it out. I'll start with 32. Eli Manning, 31.Josh Allen, and work up from there.

Brock Osweiler beat the Bears and Dak is destroying the Jags.

A list is tough nowadays
