Listened for the first time in a while when I ran out to get lunch...was greeted with the 1-2 punch of Mark in Schaumburg working the phrase "sustained success" at least 10 times in a rambling 2 minute monologue that I'm pretty sure didn't contain a question, then got Frank from Oak Park, who just sucks. Literally the only thing that came out of the whole 30 minutes I listened to was that Adam Shaheen is eligible to start practicing after week 6, but no one actually knows what the fuck is wrong with him other than Hub saw his foot in a toe to the top of the calf hard cast after week 2, and he was wheeling around Halas Hall on one of those scooter gimmicks.

Radio is a medium of ritual and repetition and if we start letting just anyone replace our legends (even on a one-time basis) we're going to risk losing the whole format in a fit of anarchy!

Seriously, think about the children out there who are terrified by this development where their dads turn on the radio and there is some random schlub asking Hub the first question...
