1) Streets Of Fire, was to be a trilogy. John Hill at the Helm. The look and feel of the movie is awesome. music great if not perfect . It has my top 3 song ever. Has the top 5 most beautiful woman ever in movies ever. Plus,Rick Moranis. If I win the big money I will try to finish it, hell it has robert toewsen and Stoney Jackson.

2) Buckaroo Banzai- cast is great, plot great why not have more? It made money. Once again I win the big money I will make it

3) Remo Williams-this one baffles me. Should have been more movies than James Bond. This one I will be funding if iwin a small jackpot. The original cast was almost perfect except for Chun. If I did it now I would cast Jackie Chan.

So tell me you got 100 mil what would you make,I would do Green Lantern but that it besides the point these are moviees that should be done that wont be

Escape from New York - vintage Kurt Russell bad ass. Does this apply? I always thought this movie never got the praise for how bad ass it was.

Metropolitan, The King of Comedy, and Being There are probably the movies I've evangelized the hardest for.

fun fact. the writer/director's uncle coined the phrase "WASP". while this movie pushes the term "UHB" (which didn't really catch on beyond this movie).

all 3 of those are good choices.

'Escape' and "Big Trouble' already mentioned ... I'll add 'Hudson Hawk'.

Buckaroo Bonzai was hot garbage. Sorry...I tried.
I remember enjoying Remo Williams, but there's a point where I recall it getting way too ourrageous. I'm all for suspending reality in a fictional movie...but there comes a point where it goes too far. Most of the Tom Cruise Mission Impossible movies were also like that for me.

Is our language so impoverished that we have to use acronyms of French phrases to make ourselves understood?

I really wanted to put Constantine on the list, but unlike the other 3, I know it it’s irredeemable garbage.

The only movie that I really liked that fell below expectations or others just though was meh was "That Thing You Do".

Haven't seen Beautiful Girls, but I know the Afghan Whigs contributed a pretty sweet cover of "Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe" to the soundtrack, so maybe I should.

Strange Days (1995)

I don't get why this movie has been so overlooked. It was a flop at the box office and, aside from a glowing review by Roger Ebert, the critical response was decidedly lukewarm. I saw it on HBO back in the day and its been one of my favorite films since.

Strange Days is a neo-noir cyberpunk thriller where people use devices to record their memories and then sell them on the black market. Ralph Finnes plays a sleazy but likable memory dealer and Angela Bassett plays his bad ass merc friend. The rest of the cast has a bunch of familiar faces as well. James Cameron co-wrote the script and, while it doesn't exactly reinvent the wheel, it has a cool premise and several gut punch moments. Katherine Bigelow oversees some really interesting camerawork that includes a bunch of POV shots. Plus, it has a cool soundtrack.

It pops up on Netflix every so often and is definitely worth a watch.

We'll watch it anytime it's on.

This is rightfully regarded as a classic. It also has the best score of all time. I listen to it while I’m on the road frequently (combined with Assault On Precinct 13 and some other random Carpenter tracks).

Three unheralded movies that I have an unhealthy amount of love for:

Bound By Honor (aka Blood In Blood Out)
Witness To The Mob
Alive

I am legit shocked that you didn't put Triumph of the Will on your list.

Good pick for you! Might have cracked my top three if Egret would have had a cameo.

Glengarry Glen Ross
eXistenz (not my favorite, but a really entertaining one)
Waiting for Guffman
Adding: Wordplay (a documentary about crosswords)

It's already a well loved classic with lessons still applicable to the *current year*, much like Mein Kampf

Things aren't looking good for the Nazi cinematic universe. I heard they're doing re-shoots for Disney's Goebbels: A Third Reich Story.
