You don't move up the list by losing winnable football games. Watson > Mitch still

He's probably middle of the pack now but still has more to prove. Lance Briggs will tell Bernstein that the Bears should have run more tomorrow. He hates Mitch.

GOATS
1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Drew Brees
3. Tom Brady

ELITE
4. Russell Wilson

NOT-QUITE-ELITE (YET?)
5. Cam Newton -
6. Philip Rivers
7. Andrew Luck
8. Matt Ryan
9. Jared Goff -

OBJECTIVELY GOOD
10. Matthew Stafford
11. Patrick Mahomes
12. Kirk Cousins
13. Ben Roethlisberger
14. Andy Dalton

GOOD, BUT SOMEHOW FLAWED
15. Alex Smith
16. Carson Wentz

CLINGING TO RELEVANCE
17. Derek Carr

SYSTEM BABIES, DYING STARS, RAW YOUTH, "SOLID" VETERANS, COACHES PETS
18. Joe Flacco
19. Mitch (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky +
20. Baker Mayfield +
21. Deshaun Watson
22. Josh Allen REMOVED? (if not he's gonna fall hard)
23. Josh Rosen
24. Jameis Winston +
25. Sam Darnold +
26. Case Keenum
27. Ryan Tannehill

UTTERLY HOPELESS
28. Eli Manning ---
29. Marcus Mariota -
30. Dak Prescott +
31. Blake Bortles -
32. CJ Beathard

------

Not a ton of movement coming. I think the CLINGING TO RELEVANCE tier may go away, as it has a negative connotation despite not being one of the bottom tiers. UTTERLY HOPELESS is going to gain a new member too! And one way or another I think we are getting a new #32. Also Cam is out of the Top 5, who replaces him I do not know but the guy I'm towards may come as a surprise.

The fact that Carr is still ahead of (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is criminal. I may be a Russell Wilson hater but he's not 4th. Also Brady should have his own tier.

It's pretty hilarious how Buffalo might have the two worst quarterbacks in the entire league on their team.

The top 4 are very difficult to move because the parts of their resume that put them in that echelon are season-long accomplishments.

Mitch should be closer to Mahomes. No quarterback in the NFL has put up better numbers than Mitch over the past 2 weeks. Remember when he couldn't throw deep or to his left? Remember when he didn't have any touch?

I am going to put Mitch in a place where with a good game next week against his toughest opponent all year he can move up big time, but also wont be hammered for failing the way I fully expect him to fail.

Curious to see what is on the menu this week for

Why Deshaun Watson's garbage ass performance once again wasn't HIS fault.

Andrew Luck is playing quite admirably with an absolutely empty deck. 2017 Bears tier weapons with a worse OL.

By the numbers (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky has been a top 10 quarterback this season.

You're not watching the games of every quarterback you're ranking. You have to look at the numbers too.

That same eye test says that Aaron Rodgers is far from the #2 QB in the league this season.

Faaaarrr from it.

I've seen a fair amount of every QB in the league and yes I also look at the numbers.

He's been below average 3 out of 5 games this year. Obviously 1 ridiculously good game has skewed his overall stats. As America noted - we'll know a lot more after next Sunday.

You can do that with all quarterbacks. Reality is even with a mediocre first half his stats in the past 2 games has been better than every quarterback in the league and his 5 games worth of work has his in the top 5 or 10 in nearly every statistical category. At worst he should be ranked 15th because of his play in Arizona and against Seattle.
