Rogan has opinions, is honest, even tempered, and I find him interesting. I listen to his podcast occasionally and I like him but he's not some sort of intelligent debate king. To quote some one on here he's a dumb person's version of a smart guy.

I have thought this myself.

Rogan scored a 138 on the WAIS.

Quote:
The Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Adults
Designed to measure intelligence in adults and older adolescents, the WISA is in its fourth version which was published by Pearson in 2008. The test contains 10 subtests and 5 supplemental tests. The core tests comprise the entire IQ scale, and determines the capacity of a person to act and think purposefully and rationally and to deal effectively with his environment. It takes around 90 minutes to complete.
The WAIS is appropriate for adults and adolescents ranging from 16 to 90 years of age.

Scoring and Administration
Each test is comprised of two groups of subtests: Verbal and Performance. Verbal scales measure general knowledge, language, reasoning, and memory skills. Performance measures spatial, sequencing, and problem-solving skills.
Each test is individually administered by a trained examiner and requires a complex set of test materials. The Full Scale IQ score is determined by a formula that sums the Verbal and Performance IQ scores. A score beyond 130 is considered superior or "gifted", 120-129 is "very high", 110-119 are considered "bright normal", and anything less than 90 is considered average to low average. Anything lower than a 70 signals borderline mental functionality, and any lower than 69 signals mental retardation.

I thought Bernstein held that title. Especially around here.

He's not dumb. He's good with conversation, curious, but he's no genius. He often makes fun of his lack of intellect. When he has "experts" on you can tell he is a out of his element.

Being a public figure who is in constant need for programming for his show, he is the least pretentious test-taker I could think of. Outside of a job where it is a requirement, doing what JR does, it is very practical for him to do it - makes for at least one good show topic. Plus, I am thinking someone probably challenged him to do it, and he just went with it.

Wow, I usually read these figuring it's all overblown, but this one lived up to the hype! Holmes comes across as a bigger than normal petty douche
in that transition. He tried to act all tough and high and mighty, yet Parkins always got in the last laugh, especially with that closing remark. I'm guessing
Holmes had his posse telling him Parkins was "dissing" him. I don't get why Holmes thinks he had to be notified they were talking about him? Maybe that was
how Berstein used to do it, but Bernstein ain't top dog anymore, there's a new sheriff in town, and it's Danny Parkins! Also, loved how Mac just sat back
and watched like Francis in Stripes during the mud wrestling scene.

Parkins: Is that the new edict where you have to ask someone's permission to talk about their sports opinions?

Pumped some life in this section. That's for sure.

Joe Rogan doesn't give a shit about 50,000 Watt radio station. He gets more views/listens per podcast than there are Score listeners at any given moment. His podcast videos get .5M to 2M views on youtube.
Yes, he is intelligent. He also calls himself a dumbass every other show.

This whole thing is stupid. I want my 45 minutes back.

No....Larry genuinely hates Parkins...what is staged is when Parkins says he doesn’t understand where the vitriol comes from...i.e...Larry being passed over again for the drive time slot.
