The Celebrity Jeopardy with Turd Ferguson. And god knows I'm tired of it but the cultural import of More Cowbell cannot be denied.

A petit dejeuner. That category is about French things, so we'll just skip it.

Hey, I know a little French. You're an assbite. Pardon my French. Haha.

My name is French!

Yeah well who gives a damn.

Oh yeah, most of the early Celebrity Jeopardy skits were classic.

Cowbell was legendary.

of course they do. Tina Fey was the head writer of the meatiest of meat eras for that show.

someone mentioned Jan Hooks. She was fantastic

Jane Curtain and Gilda Radner from the original cast.

I loved Rachel Dratch.

I really liked Julia Louise Dreyfuss but she was criminally underused in her one year there.

Mary Gross is about the best woman on that show to handle physical comedy.

The most underrated one in my opinion was a woman named Elen Cleghorne.

Tina Fey did a skit once every couple weeks, and mainly did Weekend Update as her time as a CAST MEMBER.

We can talk about the best SNL writers if you want tho.

funny lines aside the only one you shouldn't know is Cleghorne

Every single one of those other people have had good success beyond SNL. Gross would probably be the second least known and she was the best woman during SNL's second golden age. Her Alfafa impersonation with Eddie Murphy's Buckwheat was hilarious.

I don’t remember Gross. Probably would if I saw her. Cleghorne was good but I’m not sue she ever got enough use. Hooks was in the cast of my early teens and was just phenomenal.

It was brought up somewhere that Norm wasn't good at impressions, but he had this impression of a late 1970s Reynolds that he wanted to work in the show, so they came up with Celebrity Jeopardy! as a way to get him in there. Sean Connery was always done as the present day Sean -- all of the other guests were present day, but Burt Reynolds was set back in time, and he said nobody commented on that ever.

The only stuff outside of Weekend Update I can think of Norm doing was Burt Reynolds and Bob Dole. BOB DOLE'S PEANUT BUTTER!
