I am sure Rock would only tell you what a great guy Mike is. I don't even need to meet Mike to tell you he is an asshole. I can tell from the comments he makes to others when he is truly infuriated. He gets very personal and tries to belittle others, while always falling back on his salary as the determination of what a good guy he is.
Tipping well, giving tax write off donations, trying to befriend everyone so you can call on them later is not what makes a good guy. A good guy does something, just to be nice. Not so he can mention it on the air and tell everyone he didn't want anything from it, but just to honestly be a nice person.
Look at the staff Mike has assembled now. Fred the Lap Dog, who would never disagree with Mike on anything and 3 kids under 25 that do appreciate all that Mike has done for them and Mike does expect full devotion on their part now as well. This is why they are with him.
All in All it is a really bad show and everything done is self serving to Mike North.
You said it perfectly. Anybody with average intelligence knows that Pappy is an ass hole. Give Rock some credit. He's all grown up now. Rock knows that Pappy is an ass hole. Right Rock?
Jen Jen knows too. She knows why she was hired. She bounces around for Pappy. She plays the role. I don't blame Rock or Jen Jen. They have to kiss Pappy's ass. They are trying to make it in radio. You have to kiss ass in any profession.
Fred is the pathetic one. He's around Pappy's age and plays the role of "yes man" for Pappy.
