I haven't met America but I've interacted with him off the board enough to believe that he's more Bernie Sanders than Hitler.

I think some things come off differently in text than they do in person. That's happened with a couple of people from here. I'll take your word for it but WFR strikes me as a guy who is always intense and serious and may have never laughed or smiled a day in his life.

I have a feeling pretty much everyone here would be good to have a beer with.

I don't think he has a coherent or consistent view on much, if anything. His posts are wildly contradictory and seem to be largely informed by what he's just read or saw on TV rather than a systematically accumulated body of knowledge. Even his Bears posts--which are highly detailed and appear to begin forwarding a solid point-of-view--disintegrate in the face of his seemingly endless, bizarre mood swings that constantly cause him to revise his opinions on players, coaches, and the game more broadly.

Are you, WFR, and Seacrest working together on this? WFR accussed me of calling you a Nazi incorrectly yesterday. Seacrest accussed me of calling people Nazis today. You make this post, which indicates that there seems to be an epidemic on here of people calling JLN and WFR Nazis.

Where is this coming from? Admittedly, I've started reading the politics section here a lot less since the change but where are these posts of people being called Nazis?

MANY struggle to find their own humility around here as they feel any debate defeat is an infringement on their board persona.

Tommy and I are going to get together later this month to watch The Virginian while commenting on on the dishes in each episode. Then, I’m going to read his Sears warehouse memoir while he reviews my short play about the summer I worked at The Eagle deli. (Working title, Don’t eat the ham salad!!)
