But those skits in the debates were well done. Hammond as Gore was great.

Strongly agree. Her era as head writer was pretty weak, and I don't think she was particularly funny on Weekend Update (though she was better than that chuckling dimwit Fallon). I basically didn't give 30 Rock a fair chance for several seasons because I didn't care for her SNL tenure.
