I'm pretty sure she is. Darlene has to be mid to late 40's. I'm curious to see how the show works without Rosanne. They're going to have to feature someone and Dan looks old and slow.

this isn't going to last. roseanne was the heart of the show.

i know what they're trying to do. i wish the show could've just gone on, because it was pretty good. but now, it's just lost in the sea of tv suck.

I loved the show last season and it was really good despite MANY expecting it to fail. I don't want to toe tag it because Rosanne is gone. I wouldn't be surprised if the country stopped going crazy over everything that they find a way to bring her back in a couple of years.

Despite what the TwitterMob says, I didn't find it to be that bad. it had clunkiness just like the regular "Roseanne" reboot did, and John Goodman looks closer and closer to death.

but there were some laughs, and some nice gags. jackie having to align the kitchen correctly, and shampooing the couch were pretty funny.

i just don't seeing this last, because Roseanne was the glue that held that show together. i'm guessing they'll make Darlene the matriarch but having Dan sad and lonely is just going to bring things down. they might have to just kill him off too. if it lasts that long...

Yeah Zach it was fine. Completely agree about Dan as I pointed out last season.

Meant to watch this yesterday. I thought last season was great despite them trying to force a lot of content into 1 season and Dan looking casket ready. I'm optimistic they will create a sustainable formula that works and Darlene is the best person to lead this series.

I do think Rosanne is nuts, but I heard Joe Rogan talking about a conversation he had with her. She said, "Joe, I swear to God I didn't know that woman was black ." For what it's worth, Rogan said he's known her a long time and he thought she was telling him the truth.

Yes. It had the realistic middle class feel with a splash of Married with Children. It was a great show all around.

I believe her. But I dont think her statement was a good example of PC world gone mad. I think saying what she said would be met with pushback anytime post 1980.
