Glad Mitch got his completion percentage and yardage up at the end there. He's not so bad, he's not so bad!

How do you not stretch for the goal line. He’s protecting the ball like he’s worried about a fumble.

They aren’t beating the Lions. Should beat the Jets and Bills but this team is full of mental midgets. I don’t have high hopes.

The Patriots always make the dumbest shit happen: punt blocks for touchdowns, getting stuffed one foot short.

OK, I'll probably get eaten up by this, but while I'm totally disappointed today, I see a lot of positives:
- We stuck with a great team today.
- We haven't been blown out yet this year.
- For all of our losses, a few stupid / bad plays change the outcome completely.
- Mitch has faults and problems, absolutely! But, he is showing promise and is starting to produce, despite flaws and setbacks (remember, he is still basically a rook).

This is promising.

Points to work on:
- Play calling needs to improve, for sure.
- Defense needs to get back to their pre-bi-week strength and power.
- Mitch needs to work on accuracy, especially with the long ball.
- O-line needs work still.

I'm sure there are others, but if we can work on that, we have a real contender!

Meh.. I’m not impressed with the Pats after this game. They needed 2 special teams plays to beat a young Bears team that was playing like crap as is.

Some odd play calling when you couldn’t afford odd play calling by Nagy and Fangio today (you play soft zone with your DB’s 10 yards off the WR’s on 3rd and short with the Pats backed up to their own end zone..?) dumb. But it is what it is. I think this team is still gelling combined with their best player (Mack) battling an injury. This will start to look better and more consistent most likely around mid season imo.

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky’s stats should look much worse. He played like garbage.

His rushing yards saved him, but yeah, he sucked.

Bullcrap. The two interceptions were functions of great plays by the secondary of the Pats. He missed some passes, yes. But he also kept this team in the game with his feet. He is doing fine for a 2nd year qb. Very fine.

I'd say this loss could be pinned on Fangio and special teams, not on the offense.
