This Bulls team has to be there
White Sox 1970 56-106 how can a team with No Neck Williams lose 106
Cubs 1962 61-101 with three HOF'ers
Bears 1969 1-13 with Sayers and Butkus?
Blackhawks I'm stumped

Chicago's Big Ten Team lost 34 games in a row.

That Bears team running Henry Burris out there was unwatchable.

And the 2016 Cubbies

I agree that it was the worst thing to happen to White Sox fans.

Frankly given the fandom of assholes like juice, ruffcorn, The Hawk and others, I hold Sox fandom in increasingly lower regard

I was at Stop State at 28. NU lost. I was freezing and about ten.

1998 Bears...just about zero talent on that team. Kruetz, Mannelley, Big Cat, Marcus Robinson (injured and no where near his 1999 form) & Parrish would be the only players on that team the next time the make the playoffs.

2003-04 Blackhawks, with the 98-99 & 05-06 squads in the team picture

2018-19 Bulls (if this defensive trend continues)

2018 White Sox (100 losses and your future ace gone until 2020)

Vague enough memories that I can’t say for sure if they are real or second hand from later years. Kind of like Armstrong era Bears but I do remember my dad doing his version of berating that team.

Awful team. My brother played football in high school with NU's quarterback. He was the only decent player on offense. I did see them nearly beat Ohio State a year earlier.

End of Bill Wirtz era Hawks

Gotta say Floyd era Bulls were the worst of the worst.

Were they really, or was that a hangover effect at how sharp the drop off from winning 3 championships in a row?

To me, the right answer is the Blackhawks from 1998-2008.

They were pretty bad independent of what happened previously.

NU football was the worst of the worst, followed by the Bulls post-Jordan.

Lesser-known teams? CSU or NEIU hoops. The incels of Chicago sports.

Not sure about worst ever but those Bulls teams were objectively horrible. No talent and no coaching. It was a disaster. Didn't matter if they were coming off a 3 peat - they were not an NBA squad those years.

Admittedly, I stopped watching the Bulls sometime around Jordan's first retirement...

But the argument is there that the Hawks teams of the same era really didn't qualify as an NHL team most of the time, either.

That whole era sucked for Chicago sports. The Sox were mediocre. Other than 98, the Cubs were awful. The Bears sucked ass...and they weren't even that good in 01.

Late 70s were mediocre as mediocre can be

They scored 49 points in one game.

I cannot for the life of me understand why Chicago State is so bad at basketball. They play in a conference with no other urban recruiting bases. You would think there are enough guys who slip through the cracks in high school in this city for CSU to scoop up and keep eligible for a couple of years.

Man, I forget Dennis Green used to coach that team. The guy was a baby.

He's not who I thought he was.
