Means nothing. The 1-2 punch of Thibs's coaching and having to play with Ball Stopping Team Cancer Butler is ruining the kid.

The kid is as soft as Charmin's and his heart pumps kool-aid. That has nothing to do with coaching or Butler. We excused it early on but in the end you are what you are.

He also was All NBA last year and 30 out of 30 GMs would take him over Butler right now.

They would take him over LeBron too because he's almost decade younger. Your dislike of Butler and Thibodeau blinds you when discussing Wiggins and Towns my friend. No one can deny their natural talent but they don't have what it takes to become a superstar.

They wouldn't take Towns over Lebron but they would take him over Butler. Your love of Thibs and burgeoning love of Butler blinds you to who they are.

I've been mostly correct in the things that i have posted about both guys the past 2-3 years. Thibs isn't the coach people considered him to be 3 years ago and Butler is a known Cancer which i had him to be 3 years ago.

As a player i had him 15-20 and that is kind of what he is. I was wrong about him making Another all star team but that really is about it.

I still think Towns will be a star/ superstar player. Wiggins no but i still think he can be a good player. I don't think that playing for Thibs is helping either. They have been misused by him from the Beginning. There are a number of former players that have taken him to task for the style of play that he employs.

Wolves fans booed the hell out of him at intros last night. He's done.

If Towns had the mentality of Drummond he would be the best player in the league. Wiggins may be more naturally talented than all of them. His problem is between his ears and inside of his chest.

The absolute lowest you can slot him is 11-15. I have him somewhere between 8-10.

Not all blacks are gangs. I thought we turned a new Leaf today

Trade Butler for whatever , and fire Thibs

This win now stuff and trading him for not equal value will set the franchise back is ridiculous
They aren't title contenders, so who cares

It unfortunate as I root for them, but they all suck
Every one of them
I kinda like Tyus Jones still but I'd trade basically any player and blow the entire thing up
Obv being a smaller market they're always going to try to "remain competitive" but with what they have now they'll never accomplish anything, it's the sad truth

In January, you can trade Towns to Portland for Nurkic and Portland's first round pick. Now you can give Butler the contract he wants.

Butler
Wiggins (much more effort this season)
Nurkic
Okogie
Bol Bol
Jaylen Hands

I like it. Thibs...call me.

Minnesota would be stupid to do that move though it is very much a Thibs like move.

Just wait until my second idea.

Trade Towns to Houston for those earlier mentioned first round draft picks, then sign Klay Thompson in the offseason to give the TWolves the modern 3 point sniper they need. Play Taj at C and Wiggins at the 4. Go small and fast.

Taj Gibson
Andrew Wiggins
Jimmy Butler
Klay Thompson
Jeff Teague

Josh Okogie
Gorgui Dieng
Bol Bol
AT
Jaylen Hands (if still available with Houston's 1st rounder)

And you'll have more future picks.

Okogie is going to be a PLAYER. You heard it here first.

Bates-Diop should also end up as a solid bench player.

And are you predicting that scenario on Thibs being gone ? Because I'm sure Klay will be chomping at the bit to sign with them to play his style

Don't know if they will have the dough to sign Klay after maxing Butler out. Wiggins Dieng and Teague's contracts are killing them also. Each is vastly overpaid.

They are screwed no matter what.

D.Rose FT shooting much improved since Memphis. Hit 2 with ~ 15 seconds to go for 50 and put TWolves up by 3.

Tried to get a cap with his eyes open but he had em closed throughout the interview. Rose blocked the Twolves final 3 point attempt to secure the W for the TWolves, 128-125
