Montgomery saved them a couple of years ago and he doesn't really have a role now.

The broadcasters yesterday seemed to think the duo approach at RB was working? Maybe I misheard it?

I hope they continue to implode and then have to deal with a slew of 5 win seasons. Fuck the Packers.

Yeah at some point the drafting and football luck Gods will turn their tides and the Pack will have to have a dry spell.

I really can't believe how falling into Favre and going right to Rodgers has been so fortunate for so long.

They've screwed up enough for sure. They have had two of the top ten QBs to ever play in the NFL start 90% of their games for the past 26 years, and they have only played in three Super Bowls. The Giants had Eli Manning and have won just as many rings in that stretch.

But yes, they are over due for a long stretch of regular season ineptitude. Hopefully this is just the start of it.

It is working. The duo though is Jones and Williams. Montgomery is the 3rd rb but he is usually in on pass plays to protect or get split out wide.

The draft issues have already happened. I think they said the 15-17 drafts for Thompson have produced 5 total starters. The tide is turning back with the 18 draft. The wr's and db's all look good.

The RB role it is so easy to fill in the NFL, I love watching the Packers shit all over themselves in this regard. McCarthy is such a beta, I bet they don't even cut Montgomery.

Ty Montgomery is cut now, right?

Some of the stories coming out in the wake of the loss are baaaaad.

truth is, I was more impressed by the Pack in this loss than in any win this year. Still, Rams WR were wide open most of the day.

Ravens are trading a 7th-round pick in 2020 draft to Packers for Ty Montgomery, per source. Packers clearly wanted to move on, and so did Montgomery.

The entire division can feel the shift in power with (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky's emergence

How soon you forget that GB is going to sweep Chicago once again this year.

Probably. I want to wait til closer to the game tho. If Rodgers goes down obviously I'm not trying to bet.

I wouldn't be surprised if Montgomery is the Ravens lead back by the end of the season

There is alot beneath the surface with Ha-Ha. He quit on the team last year and his effort was horrendous. He has also blown a bunch of his safety responsibilities this year and has been going rogue by trying to jump routes he shouldn't be jumping and leaving the corners horribly exposed. I can't tell you how many times the packers have given up a really bad long td pass and the announcers say " it looks like he was expecting help over the top". He wants to have a huge INT # thi year and then cash it in. He is also a very good tackler who shies away from contact as he doesn't want to get injured. He always shows up after a play and barely arm tackles......unless its a TFL then he blows the guy up to put it on tape.

They would have gotten a 4th rd comp pick for him so this only a marginal draft stock gain. They wanted to get rid of him and they did. They did not need to do this, they wanted to.

Even with that automatic L I'd give the Bears better odds at winning the division.
