I would have guessed he would get only a 5th. There are lots of white flags being waved today

That's not what this is. These trades mainly have to do with contract status and depth at the positions. Detroit just traded for Harrison, they aren't waving a white flag. Montgomery is objectively a bad NFL player, if anything GB is improved by getting rid of him, and HaHa's uninspired play and unwillingness to tackle made it a certainty he was getting shipped out.

You were just celebrating HaHa not long ago and Montgomery was leading the Packers to the playoffs. WYC?

All true. It's sad because despite playing on 1 leg Rodgers has never been scarier. Almost Brady like.

The Packers are undeniably a worse team today than they were yesterday.

You seem to have a very distorted perception of how valuable Montgomery and HCD were to Green Bay. GB will not miss either player.

There is no other way to look at this. Good thing the Bears passed on HaHa. I guess the joke is on the Packers.

It's ok. You are probably a little woozy from your team conceding

It's amusing you think that's what this was. This isn't baseball.

They were starters in the past 12 months and at worst provided depth. The Packers aren't better.

of course, of course, how could I be so foolish as to think launching a starting safety while no one was pushing him for playing time would result in a team getting worse

Addition by subtraction for the Pack. Lions got way worse though, I don't understand it for them.

Fowler is a brilliant pick up by the Rams. They have no outside rush.

The Fowler thing makes me exceedingly unhappy for this year.

Fun to see the Pack packing it up.

dumb move. So Dix will want his money, so what? You've had Clay Matthews all these years.

Dix is only 25 and has a lot of good years left. Hard to find guys like him and they gave him away for nothing.

It's the same team it was yesterday.
You disagreed with gd who said the Packers are worse today than they were Monday. After two trades yesterday- one of which was a starter on defense- the are not the same team as they were [Monday].

By process of elimination, you must think the Packers are better today than they were 48 hours ago. That's amusing. Almost cute.

Montgomery was fairly useless and Clinton-Dix has been pretty bad this year, mainly due to lack of effort. They won't miss either player. Hence, same team.
