Was listening to Mully and Haugh this morning and they had Dan on and were telling them how sorry they were for his loss. Apparently his
21 year old daughter passed suddenly on Oct 22nd. That is terribly sad. Always one of the best interviews on the radio for NFL chatter.
Just wanted to start a thread to pass along best wishes to his family.

That's fucked up. Pompeii is probably my favorite Bears beat guy(thought he's transitioned to more of a national guy with part time Bears thoughts) any way, just seems like a solid dude that gives you the story/facts without some side b.s. or narrative.

The boys were giving him a lot of credit to jumping right back into work after taking a week off. They are probably right that staying
busy during the middle of the NFL season might help keep his mind off of this just a little bit. No cause of death was discussed and
I didn't read anything about what may have happened. RPB may be onto something but honestly it doesn't matter how it happened
in the end.
