Well....you’ll be able to stretch out your legs with the open room now.

It was already getting empty. Couldn’t believe how many empty seats at hawks vs rangers.

This.

I have my eye on the Winnipeg game on 12/14. 1 upper deck face ticket in advance is an insane $116 after taxes and fees, which explains why I haven't gone to a game at the UC since 2010.

Vivid Seats has one for $56. If it gets down to $40 (which means $60 all in after food and a round trip #19 bus trip), I'll bite.

The hell with their ticket prices. It is just not worth it especially if I bring my wife who is basically going just to give me company.

Nailed it.

Affordability will return to the UC. Love it.

At $40, it's worth it to me to go once a year just for fun and for doing something different. I'm not really knowledgeable about strategy, I can tell the difference between an AHL and a NHL game, but I don't appreciate the subtleties in tactics. I'm planning on going to a lot of Hurricanes games when I move to NC next year, because our office is a couple of blocks from PNC Arena and getting $15 tickets is not going to be that difficult.

I hope attendance plummets as that is the only way McCub and his hockey ops minions are chased away

It's either that or NASCAR. Easy choice until baseball season starts.

The internet was jerking off to them so hard for the first week of the season because they did Fortnite dances after they won games or something. Then they crapped the bed even worse than the Hawks did.

this thread is a year late. I jumped off the bandwagon pretty much exactly a year ago. Didn't watch a single Hawks game last season from Mid November on. Watched a few games this year at the start of the season just cause there was nothing else on, but that's about it.

The 1st round playoff exit at the hands of Nashville, made it very clear that the prior season exit by St. Louis was not a fluke. The end was here. It was a great run, but I can't sit and watch a god-awful team and hope they're decent.
