Combining Simmons with Fultz or Simmons with Shamet (Sixers other PG) or Fultz with Shamet, not as good as Simmons or Fultz (above) as lone primary ball-handler on the court:

Sixers were finally able to win on the road thanks to playing Fultz more at PG:

I wonder if Brown will use Simmons more as a 4 Man with Saric gone. They really don't have a starting caliber 4 now.. Simmons rebounds well enough and has the size to play the 4. Wilson Chandler is an upgrade over Covington at the 3 and it will give Fultz more of an opportunity to play point. Going to be real interesting going forward.

No room on the bandwagon for the likes of you.

Pretty sure I can't possibly be a bandwagon fan when it is clear I'm rooting for the player...this is the third stop now.

This is best chance to win. If he is as good as you seem to think then he will be able to elevate them into the conversation for best team in the East.

Kawhi Leonard owns him.

I think Butler, Embiid and Simmons could be very good. Imagine if the 76ers grabbed someone else besides Fultz.

Who Lonzo Ball? Fultz will be fine. Might never be as good as Tatum but he isn't a bust.

Lol no not Lonzo. But someone that can help without ball handling all the time. Tstum would have been awesome. Markkanen. But it was a weak draft.

might not be a bad idea to play Simmons closer to the rim on offense, as his shooting outside the paint is not good.

Simmons shooting so far this season:

Fultz at least is a threat to fire up a 3:

Fultz + Simmons on the court at the same time, especially playing perimeter positions, defenses have 2 guys they can cheat off of. As Fultz' shot continues to improve that'll be less of an issue. But currently when Simmons and Fultz are both on the court defenses collapse and the Sixers lose floor-spacing on the offensive end.

Philly had problems creating shots off the dribble in the playoffs last season. Fultz helps with as he can get in the lane.

I agree with the part about he and Simmons. The biggest problem with playing them together is that they are both points and Philly has committed to Simmons as their point of the future.

They are both dribble drive players but when they play together Simmons is the only one doing the dribbling. Fultz looks lost mostly because he is used to playing with the Ball in his hands.

If Simmons plays the 4 his lack of shooting will be less problematic and it will free Fultz up to do more creating.

Playing with Butler is going to stunt Fultz's development though.

The Sixers may have gotten the 2 best players in the deal.

I assume you're talking about Patton, the guy who's broken his foot several times requiring multiple surgeries since he was drafted less than 2 years ago. They guy who Minnesota refused to pick up his rookie extension a few weeks ago. Yea, gonna have to agree to disagree on that one.

The same thing happened to Embiid. He was a first round pick last year.

no one ever refused to give a rookie extension to Embid. Wonder what the difference could be?

Justin Patton is a bum and his selection last year was considered a reach by MANY.

Interesting how little teams were willing to give up for "Top 8" Jimmy Butler.

Leverage. The Heat deal was clearly the best but they stupidly thought Butler wouldn't behave like a spoiled toddler.

Thibodeau was getting hammered for the Miami deal but it is pretty clear that Glen Taylor is likely responsible for killing the best possible deal the Timberwolves could have gotten. He's one of the dumbest owners in the NBA.

Ironically, in a game Butler is the hero. A block, a save, and a 3 to win it.

In Butler's defense that 60 is on JJ Redick more than him. That should be Redick's cover.

Plenty said he'd be a bust. Including me. #11 pick. And was a bust for his 3 opening years. Just shows young guys can improve and probably shouldn't be called busts after a dozen games.
