Why is ESPN/AM1000 still running ads for their "new" morning show of Golic and Wingo? The show has been for about about 11 now.

I've heard a commercial on WSCR in which the voice of the person speaking sounds synthesized and is barely audible. Weird...

Couldn't Blue Chew have gotten more appealing spokesmen than Jurko and Parkins to do their reads? I know the pickins is pretty slim when it comes to "sexy" male Chicago sports radio hosts, but Jurko is a "proud to be a slob" kind of guy and not who you want to envision engaging in the phsical act of love, and if I didn't know Parkins was married I would assume he were most likely asexual.

Speaking of Parkins's reads, the other day on Can't Do It, someone asked if was still getting IVs from IV-Me, and he said, "No...they're not paying us anymore."

I'm gonna come to this one from reverse. There's a Liberty Mutual commercial with a Black couple in their sixties. He got into a crash, but they didn't raise his rates. And he tells the wife how it's nice that they don't hold grudges. Everyone smiles and the daft hubby stereotype gets left holding the bag.

Most other commercials just go the cheap route and clown the guy.
