He’s a semi local boy. At one time the town he’s from had a sign as you entered. I believe it’s been replaced by a fourth place in girls junior high pole vault or something.

Ok. State with the upset! I can't believe their defense actually held out.

That last drive by WV was idiotic. Grier ran on first down, and they didn't take a timeout and lost 10 seconds. THat was at least one more attempt at the end.

Plus the final play call: when you absolutely need a touchdown, send your QB on a bootleg on his off-hand side and have him throw across his body. That ball was in the air so long that there was no way WV was coming down with it.

Mike Leach and The Cougs are shithousing Arizona tonight. Recovering a non-fielded kickoff for a TD was pretty cool to see.

I agree, Keyser, but they don't play any teams that recruit or put their fastest guys on defense. Thus, Tua > Kyler. And don't get me wrong--Kyler has dominated, throwing and running.

I meant he has baseball game changing speed. Kyler's a baseball player.

Yesterday just cemented that the OCs at LSU & MS ST are wildly overpaid.

What's going to be interesting for the college football playoff, I think Clemson and Notre Dame wins out, Alabama in with a win Saturday against Auburn, can afford 1 loss, if Georgia beats Georgia Tech and Alabama and Michigan wins out, I think Georgia would get in over Michigan.

I know Michigan is playing great right now and early thought lose to Ohio State, but if they don't and Georgia wins out, I'm thinking Georgia is in over Michigan.

My interest in the Alabama losing to Georgia in the SEC title game scenario is if that would slot them as the 4 seed. Clemson sure wouldn’t like that.

If Michigan and Georgia win out, Alabama shouldn't get in. They've had their chance to lose late and still go, but enough with the free passes. They're are in control of their own destiny--and if they blow it, they should be out. I don't care how good they are. However, I think they'll win the Iron Bowl and the SEC Championship game. Still, if they don't win the SEC Championship (losing against Auburn may be different), the hell with them.

Since Alabama got in last year playing a weaker schedule and not even making the conference championship, I have little doubt that they'd be in this year with a loss to Georgia.

I don't see how you reward a team for losing in what essentially is a playoff game. If you can't beat the # 2 team in your conference, why should you get a crack at one of the top three teams in the nation? They don't even deserve the opportunity.

Oh I agree but they already have all their talking points in order for when they put them in. Alabama has looked like a historically great team! LSU was top 3 in the country when they beat them and it's thus a better win than anyone else has had all season! The ACC and Big Ten have looked even weaker this year!
