Hicks and Mack are both top 5 in defensive player of the year. The guy with the Rams should win it if it ended today. And the white boy in Houston is also in the top 5. Mack is penalized cuz he missed 2 games.

The fact that so many of the Bears D are good makes them all that much more better. Hicks is an integral part of that.

That is true. The addition of Mack really made everyone on the defense better because they were missing a good pass rush. Teams were double teaming Hicks on every play. Now they cannot do it and Hicks will win his match-up virtually every time. I also have gotta say that Floyd really played well against the Vikes and looks like he is finally figuring things out. NO question he and Smith are two of the fastest LBs in the league and in Jackson they have a very fast safety as well.

Right now, I give Pace an A+ this season for both his draft and his FA's and trade for Mack. Unless the BEars suddenly go into the shitter which I don't think will happen, Pace might get executive of the year. Two years ago, I would have never said that.
