No when you first began posting here you did try and present yourself as an authority on the Law. Your declarations of "you're wrong" "you're wrong" would hold more validity if you didn't proclaim it during every argument you partake.
I said repeatedly that I welcomed being wrong and taught how I was wrong about the law. I was never shy about that. So no, I didn't "present myself as an authority on the Law". I spoke from what I knew, or thought I knew, as does literally everyone about literally everything.
Just so you know, because I suspect I know where your recent gumption is coming from: people are trolling you when they say you're winning an argument or "owning" someone in a thread.
Are those crack inferential skills at work again? Or have you been "secretly" reading the PMs of other posters?
You are the one overly concerned with winning message board arguments. To hear you tell it you are the Money Mayweather of this message board.
As far as Lawyering goes i distinctly remember you attempting to be more Lawyer than an actual Lawyer (Reader). You routinely question the expertise of actual Lawyers (typically when their opinion contradicts yours) and you never seem to accept decisions that run counter to whatever it is that you are arguing.
Gumption? Is that your way of telling me to "stay in my place" JLN?
