Nas can be pretty awful, I know, but he occasionally brings something solid.

I’m glad they got one in 2016, because this is quickly turning into a shitshow.

I’m fine with Maddon leaving. I’ve never bought into the hype. They won despite him in 2016. There’s no bigger fan of Joe than Joe. Just ask him. He’s always got some convoluted explanation for his idiocy. He’s no different from all the other mopes who think they’re the smartest guys in the room. When you strip away the layers of fluff, they’re fucking dumbasses. Take the train Joe.

I still maintain the managers and coaches have very little effect overall.

Their potential for negative affect is much higher than their potential for positive affect IMO.

Also, I think the players are sick as fuck of Joe.

Is there any evidence of that though?

He is definitely a players manager and covers for them every chance he gets. Typically players like that.

Just my opinion. No empirical evidence. Tho, wasn't there an interview with Kris Bryant where he said something about not liking the pull the lineup out of a hat approach?

After that crazy stretch of games I assume everyone was a little annoyed of everyone else in the clubhouse.

What do you think will force Theo to re-sign Maddon after the season?

How bad a stretch of games will cost Maddon his job in season?

This will be Theo's 8th season with his stated intent to be there no more than 10.

It's never been reported anywhere and I have no advanced knowledge of the situation but I think Theo is intending to leave or take a different position at the end of 2019. He told Joe that and said that he would not sign him to an extension because he does not want to hamstring the next management team with his decisions. Hoyer will move to VP and hire a GM who will then hire a manger.

I wouldn't blame Theo for moving to San Diego or Seattle to build a winner. Unfortunately this franchise will go back in the crapper quickly.

Epstein seemed pretty fired up at that press conference. I mean, who knows, but definitely didnt sound like a guy planning his exit.

Im guessing his kids will have a lot to do with it. Probably doesnt want to move them.

Of course he could just take a position with the Sox

Levine revealed Hickey left for 'HR Reasons' which he cannot disclose.

Murph said Theo is at odds w/ his #2 and #3 and the purse strings are closed.
